The consultants within the Gastroenterology and Hepatology team investigate all symptoms that may be associated with the digestive system or abdomen, including (but not limited to):

• Abdominal bloating
• Abdominal pain
• Abnormal liver function tests
• Acid reflux
• Altered bowel habit
• Burping
• Constipation
• Diarrhoea
• Dyspepsia (indigestion)
• Dysphagia (swallowing problems)
• Flatulence
• Gastrointestinal bleeding

• Indigestion (dyspepsia)
• Iron deficiency anaemia
• Jaundice
• Nausea and vomiting
• Rectal bleeding
• Small bowel disorders and conditions
• Suspected biliary tract cancer (eg bile duct cancer, gallbladder cancer)
