I am a Consultant in Gastroenterology at both University College London Hospital and Royal Free London Hospital in North London. My practice includes general gastroenterology and endoscopy, with a particular focus on pancreatobiliary medicine. I undertake a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, alongside advanced techniques such as ERCP, cholangioscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound.

I have authored numerous publications in the field of gastroenterology, particularly focusing on the endoscopic management of bile duct and pancreatic disorders. I am also a passionate advocate for education, having undertaken post graduate training in Medical Education at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and I am actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate education, particularly endoscopy training courses.

Dr Phillpotts graduated from St George’s University of London in 2010 and completed his Gastroenterology training across various prestigious hospitals in North London. This training has
provided him with extensive experience in general gastroenterology, hepatology, Upper GI gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition, and pancreatobiliary medicine. He has also
completed fellowships at University College London Hospital and Royal London Hospital.
