Dr Rajeev Gupta
Medical interests: General haematology, diagnostic problems in haematology, adult leukaemia and lymphoma.
A simple full blood count offers a unique window into the human body and haematologists can provide their colleagues with a powerful additional perspective in many clinical situations. Of course, blood cells themselves can stop working properly and I specialise in the treatment of patients with disorders of the blood and bone marrow. I have particular interests in adult lymphoma and in advanced diagnostic haematology. I am also a basic scientist with an active research program in stem cell biology, studying normal bone marrow function and how this goes wrong in blood cancers. Bringing new insights from the laboratory bench to the bedside ensures that patients at The Physicians’ Clinic will always have access to the most innovative medical thinking and technology.
