Diagnosing and looking after patients with complex disorders requires a broad experience and an holistic approach. I have many years experience in Acute General Medicine and Chest Medicine within the teaching hospital environment of University College London Hospital. In addition I have been running a clinic for difficult to diagnose medical conditions, from unexplained fatigue to uncommon allergic conditions. My training within conventional medicine, combined with my extensive experience in Integrated Medicine, enables me to use the full armoury of therapeutic options as required. This can produce excellent results for my patients and it is very satisfying to watch their symptoms subside.

Dr Christian Hasford studied medicine in Germany and in New York. He completed his postgraduate medical training in the UK and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 1998.

Dr Hasford is the only consultant in the UK to hold a dual appointment in orthodox and integrated medicine within the NHS at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM). He has been a key player in creating an Acute Medical Service at UCLH. He is in the process of setting up the country’s first integrated allergy service combining drug treatment and other conventional therapeutic interventions with integrated medicine, where needed. He is a passionate educator and leads the undergraduate programme of teaching in Medical Education at UCLH. In 2013 he was awarded a Gold Medal for his achievements in Medical Education and Teaching at UCLH/UCL. Dr Hasford is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of The British Thoracic Society, the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Society for Acute Medicine and other learned medical organisations. He also holds membership of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
