Dr Jane Ashby is calm, expert and reassuring and provides a convenient, discrete and non-judgmental service. She is passionate about promoting and improving Sexual Health and Sexual Satisfaction for her patients. Expertise Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and complications related to STI Complex Genital Problems Sexual Difficulties and Problems, such as Erectile Dysfunction , Premature Ejaculation and Penetration Problems Sexual and Genital Pain All forms of Contraception, including insertion of Intrauterine Device or System HIV testing and diagnosis, Initiation and monitoring of antiretroviral treatment Provision of PEP (post exposure prophylaxis) and PrEP to reduce risk of HIV transmission
Dr Ashby graduated with honors from Imperial College London in 2000. Her specialty training in Sexual Health and HIV was undertaken at St Mary’s Hospital, London and she currently works as a Consultant in Sexual Health and HIV for a CQC-rated outstanding central London NHS Sexual Health provider. She has been awarded numerous prizes and awards throughout her career including a distinction in the diploma in Genitourinary Medicine, a scholarship to attend the European Summer School of Sexual Medicine and the British HIV Association (BHIVA) Research Award.
