I am an experienced Neurologist with a wide range of expertise in all forms of Neurological disease.

In the NHS I work in general neurology and lead the specialist headache service at the Royal Free Hospital. At University College Hospital I work in Hyperacute stroke dealing with all forms of urgent neurological disease seen at Queen Square. I have extensive experience in the complex management of seriously ill patients in intensive care and with neurological complications of conditions such as cancer, autoimmune disease and vascular conditions. In headache I have a large caseload of patients with complex headache disorders and in treating patients with the latest and most effective pharmaceutical therapeutics.

Dr Sam Firoozi trained in medicine at the University of Edinburgh and entered Neurological higher training in London at Queen Square. He was then Registrar at Nottingham Queens Medical Centre before returning to London as a Registrar at Royal Free Hospital and Queen Square. He was appointed as a consultant at the Royal Free and now split my clinical role between the Royal Free and Queen Square.
