I am a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at St George’s Hospital in London. I graduated in 1995 from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School and subsequently completed my medical and cardiology training in several London teaching hospitals. In 1999 I was awarded a British Heart Foundation Fellowship enabling clinical research into heart muscle disease and sports cardiology at St George’s University of London.

Between 2002 and 2008, I completed training in general and interventional cardiology, including an interventional cardiology fellowship at St George’s Hospital. This led to my appointment as consultant general and interventional cardiologist in 2009. I have a special interest in high-risk coronary intervention and structural heart intervention, including TAVI, PFO closure and mitral valve intervention. I have developed a very high-volume interventional practice and regularly consults a large number of patients.

I am also involved in higher medical education for undergraduate and postgraduate students and have run training courses. I am also an active member of several organisations including The British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) and The British Cardiac Interventional Society (BCIS) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
