The finalists in the 2013 Laing and Buisson Awards for excellence in independent healthcare
have been announced. The Physicians’ Clinic is listed as one of four finalists in the Medical Practice category.
What are the Laing and Buisson Awards?
The Laing and Buisson Awards for Independent Healthcare were established in 2006 and are the most prestigious within the private healthcare sector in the UK. Being chosen as a finalist is recognition that the Physicians’ Clinic, which first opened its doors in autumn 2011, has already achieved an excellent reputation for multidisciplinary care in the private health sector.

About the Physicians’ Clinic
Founded in 2011, the Physicians’ Clinic now has 40 leading consultant specialists working across 12 medical specialties. Patients have access to on-site diagnostic and imaging facilities and many have their tests and consultation on the same day. Combining convenience with medical excellence, we work on the same principles of a London teaching hospital, holding case discussions at our regular multidisciplinary meetings (MDTs).
Dr Paul Glynne, formerly Medical Director at University College London Hospital, and Dr Huw Beynon, also Consultant Physician at the Royal Free, are available for comment.
