Our waiting areas are comfortable with refreshment facilities and we even have a pleasant terrace outside for spring and summer, where you can relax with a cup of coffee and a book between your appointments.

Most patients who come to us can have their initial consultation and then any blood tests, imaging tests, cardiac function tests, or ultrasound investigations done on the same day. We have a team of dedicated radiologists and nurses who look after you during your diagnostic tests and results are processed quickly into a full report for your consultant.

You may then be called back for a second consultation to discuss the findings and to talk through your treatment options. Patients who need a minor procedure that can be done within one of our treatment rooms can often receive therapy that same day. Patients who require a course of drug treatment may be given a prescription that can be filled at any local pharmacy, or at the HCA pharmacy located next door at 15 Devonshire Street. Follow-up appointments, hospital admission or referral to a consultant within another specialty can also be arranged to suit your schedule.
